Within this position, the Licensed Practical Nurse plays a critical role in delivering nursing care to assigned patients, following established protocols and ethical nursing standards. You will engage in developing comprehensive care plans, conducting vital assessments, and ensuring evaluations that reflect the patients' ongoing needs and responses to care. Collaboration with the healthcare team will help you navigate complex care situations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide compassionate and comprehensive nursing care

• Assess and implement care plans regularly

• Document treatments and patient counseling effectively

• Participate in care conference discussions as an advocate

• Assist with orientation and training of new staff

Requirements:

• Graduation from an accredited Practical Nurse program

• Current registration with the BC College of Nurses

• Basic life support certification required

• Effective communication skills essential

• Ability to work collaboratively with a healthcare team
