Position: AltaGas Operator Tech 4 Position
Alta Gas seeks an Operator Tech 4 to handle LPG railcar offloading at the Ridley Island Propane Export Terminal in Prince Rupert. This role emphasizes precision, safety, and teamwork.

As part of the team at RIPET, you will manage daily terminal operations and ensure safe unloading of propane from railcars. You will also perform essential inspections, document operations, and support emergency response initiatives. This position offers a supportive environment to grow your skills while prioritizing safety.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely manage LPG unloading operations at the terminal

• Conduct railcar inspections before offloading

• Execute unloading procedures with precision

• Document all activities related to railcars

• Collaborate with senior operators in various tasks

Requirements:

• Must have a High School Diploma or GED

• At least 2 years of railcar experience required

• Railcar Safety & Securement certification necessary

• Proficient in using Microsoft Office tools

• Valid Class 5 Driver’s License essential
