Working alongside the Construction Project Managers, the Senior PM will be responsible for ensuring customer contract deliverables are met on time and to the standards required. The Senior PM will also be responsible for ensuring contract processes are followed and correctly applied. The role is a 3yr Fixed Term Contract and based on site at the Saunderton Campus located a short distance from High Wycombe.

• Act in capacity of Senior Project Manager and ensure project delivery is in line with the customer contract.
• This position will be responsible for contract compliance with customer contracts, ensuring project deliverables are made on time and to the correct standard, administering contract changes between customer and VIRTUS, issuing project cost information and processing of received purchase orders.
• In cooperation with the VP of Construction map project deliverables and advise construction PMs of required actions.
• Prepare, manage and report on deliverables activity tracker (based on contract requirements) for all M&E fit-out works at the campus (including customer requested fit-out works).
• Apply influence, strategies and negotiation skills to identify options and recommend solutions for contract compliance.
• Apply a growth-mindset to day-to-day tasks and address deficiencies within current processes/frameworks with improvements implemented.
• Regularly report to the VP of Construction on compliance with contract terms.
• Provide project single point of responsibility for compliance with all contract terms.
• Attend scheduled project meetings with PMs and report as necessary.
• Work with VIRTUS PMs to deliver Project Progress status reports covering scope, schedule and budget as required to meet schedule expectations, including schedule health and metrics for internal and external customer updates if required.
• Challenge and remove barriers by working with others around a shared need or customer benefit.
• Maintain a broader perspective and identify opportunities to enhance the business through cross-group collaboration.
• Incorporate diverse perspectives to address complex business issues.

• Work with project teams (PMs, Contractors and Specialists) to ensure contract deliverables are made on time and in line with requirements.
• Develop and manage deliverables tracker.
• Deliver handover regimes to the customer in line with construction handover processes and company policy, including defect close-out management.

• Desirable:
  Bachelor’s degree in Contract Administration/ Construction Project Management, or Construction Management – Any acceptable.
• Experience in data centre project construction with hyperscale data centre operators, lease providers or allied sectors such as Petro-Chem/Pharma/Process control – any heavy process sector experience valid.
• PRINCE2, APM, MSP or other Project/Programme Management Certification preferred.
• Proven Project/Programme Management skills in a technical/construction environment.
• Able to contribute to process improvement initiatives.
• Client or Contractor side onsite data centre construction or management experience.
• Self-starter with demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, projects, and deadlines simultaneously.
• Able to manage and work within a diverse and inclusive team environment delivering large-scale enterprise projects with both localized and virtual team structures.
• Cross-group collaborator and influencer across teams and organizations with success in cross-functional teams.
