Are you looking to start a rewarding career in dental nursing? We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Apprentice Dental Nurse to join our friendly and professional practice in Princes Risborough.
This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands‑on experience, work alongside experienced dental professionals, and achieve a recognised dental nursing qualification.
Salary- £12.71 per hour until qualified
Apprentice Dental Nurse
Our Dental Nurse Apprenticeship will support and provide you with the necessary Knowledge, Skills and Behaviours on your journey to becoming a GDC registered qualified dental nurse. This includes:
- Providing the best patient care from the moment someone walks into one of our practices until the point they leave.
- Supporting our Dental professionals and providing chair‑side assistance to enable them to deliver the highest level of patient care.
- Working as an Apprentice Dental Nurse means you can earn whilst you learn.
You will attain a Level 3 qualification after an 18‑24 month training programme. Before the end‑point assessment you must achieve Level 2 English and Maths (equivalent to GCSEs at grades A
* to
C) if you have not already achieved them and can provide evidence confirming this.
- Oral anatomy and physiology, respiratory and circulatory systems.
- How infectious diseases are transmitted and prevented.
- Dental materials, equipment, and resources.
- How to deal with medical emergencies.
- Legislative compliance and regulatory requirements.
- Clinical skills.
- Health promotion.
- Patient care and management.
