What will you deliver?
- Provide strategic and tactical building services commissioning management support for the engineering process of a project from conception to completion.
- Provide guidance and direction to the team to ensure operational excellence.
- Perform requirements management, interrogating engineering schedules and verification & validation requirements.
- Manage the commissioning process with the verification and operation of plant and equipment, liaising with specialist subcontractors and package managers to follow the commissioning process from Level1 to Level
5. - Review and input commissioning procedures and activities.
- Monitor and advise when all commissioning documentation has been reviewed and signed off.
- Compile and prepare comprehensive commissioning test documentation and reports.
- Ensure work is carried out in full conformance with quality, environmental and safety requirements.
- Participate in site‑based commissioning meetings to provide updates, resolve issues and align with project milestones.
- Contribute to regular progress reports by providing accurate and timely commissioning updates.
- Assist the project manager in preparing inspection and test plans for each element of the works.

- Experience working with a main contractor or large subcontractor on highly technical buildings.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to produce accurate work.
- Proven people‑management experience.
- Good writing skills focussed on drafting test procedures and test coverage files.
- Understanding and implementation of project engineering procedures.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Knowledge of UK/European building regulations.
- Understanding of health & safety construction laws.
- Commissioning experience working in data centres.
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering desirable.
- Evidence of the right to work in the UK.
