Duration: 12 Months

Must Haves
  • Project management experience: manage project timelines, budgets, scopes, and documentation equipment specifications and issue tracking. Adherence to safety standards and regulations.
  • Experience:

    2‑3 years in a similar engineering / project management role, ideally within the manufacturing sector.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing systems and equipment.
  • Strong problem‑solving mindset, critical thinking.
  • Some knowledge of CATIA and 3D programming would be a plus.

OT: 12% (Ability to work weekends, holidays.)

Bachelor's is required, any field is fine.

Description
  • Lead cross‑functional projects that support new model introductions and equipment installations/improvements.
  • Develop scope, specifications, and validation plans for tooling, automation, and manufacturing systems.
  • Track project schedules, budgets, and deliverables using structured problem‑solving and effective communication.
  • Conduct equipment investigations and root‑cause analysis; implement corrective actions.
  • Partner closely with Production Engineering, Maintenance, Manufacturing, Quality, and OEM suppliers.
  • Oversee installation, commissioning, and change management while ensuring strong safety compliance.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, any field is fine.
  • 2‑3 years of engineering/project management experience in manufacturing.
  • Demonstrated success managing technical projects with multiple stakeholders.
  • Strong problem‑solving mindset using structured approaches (e.g., PDCA, 5‑Why, DMAIC) – Preferred.
  • Ability to interpret and communicate technical requirements clearly.
  • Familiarity with automated manufacturing systems and industrial equipment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft tools (Excel, Project, Outlook); ability to adopt new software quickly.
Added Bonus (Preferred)
  • Experience with commissioning and equipment buy‑off at vendor sites.
  • Working knowledge of CATIA or 3D modeling software.
  • Exposure to North American safety standards and engineering specifications.
  • PMP or related engineering certifications.
