Duration: 12 Months
Must Haves- Project management experience: manage project timelines, budgets, scopes, and documentation equipment specifications and issue tracking. Adherence to safety standards and regulations.
- Experience:
2‑3 years in a similar engineering / project management role, ideally within the manufacturing sector. - Strong understanding of manufacturing systems and equipment.
- Strong problem‑solving mindset, critical thinking.
- Some knowledge of CATIA and 3D programming would be a plus.
OT: 12% (Ability to work weekends, holidays.)
Bachelor's is required, any field is fine.
Description- Lead cross‑functional projects that support new model introductions and equipment installations/improvements.
- Develop scope, specifications, and validation plans for tooling, automation, and manufacturing systems.
- Track project schedules, budgets, and deliverables using structured problem‑solving and effective communication.
- Conduct equipment investigations and root‑cause analysis; implement corrective actions.
- Partner closely with Production Engineering, Maintenance, Manufacturing, Quality, and OEM suppliers.
- Oversee installation, commissioning, and change management while ensuring strong safety compliance.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, any field is fine.
- 2‑3 years of engineering/project management experience in manufacturing.
- Demonstrated success managing technical projects with multiple stakeholders.
- Strong problem‑solving mindset using structured approaches (e.g., PDCA, 5‑Why, DMAIC) – Preferred.
- Ability to interpret and communicate technical requirements clearly.
- Familiarity with automated manufacturing systems and industrial equipment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft tools (Excel, Project, Outlook); ability to adopt new software quickly.
- Experience with commissioning and equipment buy‑off at vendor sites.
- Working knowledge of CATIA or 3D modeling software.
- Exposure to North American safety standards and engineering specifications.
- PMP or related engineering certifications.
