Senior Accountant - Life Sciences Firm

Beacon Hill was founded to set a new standard in search, career placement and flexible staffing. Our client is seeking a highly motivated Senior Accountant to join its growing Life Sciences organization. This individual will play a key role in the monthly close process, financial reporting, account reconciliations, and supporting a fast-paced, highly regulated environment. The ideal candidate will be a CPA with 3-5 years of public accounting and/or industry experience and a strong foundation in U.S. GAAP.

• Assist with month-end and year-end close activities
• Prepare journal entries and account reconciliations
• Analyze financial results and investigate variances
• Support preparation of financial statements and management reporting
• Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP and internal controls
• Assist with external audits and regulatory reporting requirements
• Support process improvement initiatives and accounting automation projects
• Partner with cross-functional teams including Finance, FP&A, Operations, and R&D

• CPA required
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• 3-5 years of accounting experience, preferably within public accounting (Big 4 or regional firm) and/or Life Sciences, Pharmaceutical, Biotech, or Healthcare industries
• Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP
• Advanced Excel skills
• Experience with ERP systems preferred
• Excellent communication and analytical skills
