Accounts Payable Clerk

Description

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to support a fast-paced accounting team. This role is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely invoice processing, vendor account management, payment execution, and accounts payable recordkeeping across multiple entities.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

Process vendor invoices, including three-way matching of invoices, purchase orders, and receiving documents

Review and reconcile inventory-related invoices and ensure proper approvals

Reconcile vendor accounts and resolve discrepancies

Serve as the primary point of contact for vendor inquiries

Prepare and process payment runs, including checks

Maintain organized, audit-ready AP records and documentation

Assist with month-end close activities and special projects

Provide support to finance leadership as needed
