About the RoleYour mission is to implement Syensqo’s Consumer Care strategy by developing a business with contract manufacturers in North America. The North America Sales Manager, Contract Manufacturing will be responsible for defining and executing our Contract Manufacturer Strategy, managing existing accounts and driving new business.
Responsibilities- Build and maintain strong relationships through proactive communication and regular visits, discussing existing business and commercial opportunities in targeted applications.
- Act as the key contact point for customers, educating them on products, applications, and market trends.
- Continuously monitor industry trends, customer needs, and the competitive landscape to inform strategy and identify new opportunities.
- Evaluate and propose innovative solutions for customer challenges, coordinating with internal resources (Research & Innovation, etc.) to meet requests and resolve issues.
- Collaborate with regional NA Business Development Managers and the Global Marketing & R&I organization to leverage operational marketing and research initiatives, delivering new sales with profitable contribution margins.
- Develop and maintain commercial tactical plans, execute plans to generate expanded growth, and evaluate performance against KPIs.
- Manage a current portfolio of contract manufacturer accounts while proactively developing new business on both directed and non‑directed bases.
- Sales experience in the Contract Manufacturing space or direct experience working within a contract manufacturer.
- Experience selling Consumer Care products and developing a 5‑year strategic growth roadmap.
- Business/Sales background with at least 5 years of proven success in the Consumer Care market.
- Scientific or technical background in chemistry, formulation, and consumer markets.
- Strong communication skills, ability to create presentations, and convey technical information to diverse audiences.
- Hunter/entrepreneurial spirit, results‑driven, strong team player with ability to navigate complex organizations.
- Proficient in designing and updating Key Account Plans (KAPs) and understanding commercial guidelines.
- Ability to travel for on‑site lab visits and engage with customers across the U.S.
- Competitive base salary range: $108,000 – $135,000 per year, with bonus and other incentives.
- 16 or more weeks of maternity/paternity and co‑parenting leave (per local regulations).
