Freelance/ part-time junior-intermediate architect

Studio Geiger Architecture is a small architecture and interior design firm located in Princeton NJ and the UES neighborhood of NYC. We are looking to add a talented and personable designer to our team.

You would be working from the Princeton NJ location, and you would be working directly with the principal on a range of projects and design phases, from Concept Design to Design Development, Construction Documents and Construction Administration. Some marketing and administrative tasks will also be needed. The position requires fluency in AutoCAD, Rhino, Adobe Creative Suite programs Photoshop and Illustrator and Microsoft Word.

• One to two years experience in the field of architecture and interior architecture
• Good communication skills with other architects, team members
• Technical proficiency with detailing construction a plus
• An interest in learning from traditional design
• Ability to work on several projects at the same time in either a management or production role
• Experience in a range of project types:
  Residential, Interiors, Commercial, Apartments
• Freehand drawing and design ability, hand drafting (preferred)
• Rendering skills in watercolor, marker, pencil or other media (preferred)
• For those with less experience, excellent rendering abilities and a positive ability to work with teams would be expected
