Postdoctoral Research Associate

Overview

The Department of Operations Research & Financial Engineering invites applications for postdoctoral and more senior research positions. Individuals with evidence of experience in scholarly research and a strong commitment to excellence in education are encouraged to apply. A Ph.D. in a related field is required. Positions at the postdoctoral rank are for one year with the possibility of renewal pending satisfactory performance and continued funding;

those hired at more senior ranks may have multi‑year appointments.

• Ph.D. in Operations Research, Financial Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, or a closely related field.
• Evidence of scholarly research experience and a record of publications in peer‑reviewed journals.
• Strong commitment to excellence in education and research.
• Ability to secure external funding and collaborate with faculty and graduate students.

Expected Salary Range: $65,000 – $67,000.
