Project Manager, Geologist/Hydrogeologist, to work in a technical support role with highly skilled professionals on diverse project teams in a dynamic environment. Princeton, NJ or Holicong, PA office.

As Project Manager, Geologist/Hydrogeologist, you will play a leadership role guiding multi-disciplinary teams to deliver exceptional results for our clients, with a strong technical focus on bedrock investigations beyond standard delineation. You will understand and apply advanced 3‑D graphics and hydrogeological modeling (such as EVS and MODFLOW visualization or similar) to interpret and communicate subsurface conditions. You will be responsible for overall project delivery, client interaction, quality and financial performance, regulatory objectives, and safety.

You will have the opportunity to foster collaboration across technical disciplines, mentor junior staff, and advance your expertise in hydrogeology and bedrock site characterization.

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

In this position, you will:

  • Oversee day‑to‑day management of project teams with a focus on project delivery, quality, financial performance, and health and safety.
  • Ensure projects are executed to meet project, client, and regulatory objectives.
  • Lead all aspects of the project life cycle including cost estimating and proposal preparation, scheduling, subcontracting, resourcing, project planning, execution, document preparation and review, and financial management.
  • Demonstrate technical competence, knowledge of codes and regulations, and professional standards of practice to assigned tasks.
  • Collaborate closely with the project team, supporting field teams, providing oversight, and observing health and safety processes and procedures.
  • Regularly and effectively communicate with clients, partners, subcontractors, regulators and other stakeholders.
  • Coach, mentor, and support staff to facilitate knowledge transfer and ensure high‑quality execution of project tasks, technical reports, and deliverables.
  • Plan and manage site characterization programs and coordinate field investigations.
  • Lead project teams with the technical evaluation and interpretation of site characterization and geologic/hydrogeologic data, develop conceptual site models, and work with other multidisciplinary team members to assess impact to project goals.
  • Lead advanced bedrock investigations using a variety of techniques including downhole geophysics surveys, packer testing, and other borehole testing as well as monitoring well construction.
  • Apply and supervise use of advanced 3‑D graphics, EVS modeling, MODFLOW, and hydrogeology visualization techniques in project delivery.
  • Plan all work in accordance with company and client health and safety protocols.
  • Demonstrate the company’s foundational safety behaviors.
SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

Minimum Skills and Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Geology, Hydrogeology, or related field.
  • 8+ years of related professional experience.
  • PG licensure or the ability to obtain within 1‑2 years.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to independently lead project teams to achieve project and client goals and objectives.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and financial acumen.
  • Proficient computer literacy skills including use of the Microsoft Office 365 suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and SharePoint) and ability to learn…
