My client is a top notch MEP Consulting Engineering firm. They are actively seeking a Plumbing and Fire Protection Engineer with strong Autocad and Revit.
Responsibilities
- Designing code compliant & complex Plumbing and Fire Protection systems
- Designing complete plumbing and fire protection drawings including piping plans, schedules, details, riser diagrams, and specifications
- Coordinating design between all trades, including internal team members as well as architect/client.
- Handling multiple projects simultaneously, while maintaining quality and deadlines
- Performing construction assistance in the form of submittal reviews, RFI responses, and field visits to verify construction of Plumbing / Utilities scope is executed per the intent of the design and assisting in start-up of systems when required.
- Occasionally travel for on-site surveys to document existing conditions.
