Position based in Australia at the Randwick Clinical Campus, Sydney NSW.

About the role:
The Senior Research Fellow will lead and contribute to high‑quality child health services research within the Population Child Health (PCH) Research Group position requires an experienced academic with a proven track record of research leadership, publication, grant acquisition and collaboration across disciplines.
Key responsibilities include:
- Develop and execute research strategy for child health services and health systems.
- Author and co‑author high‑impact publications.
- Apply for and manage competitive research grants, including CIA funding.
- Foster partnerships with clinicians, health services, policymakers and academic partners.
- Mentor students, groups and colleagues.
- PhD in health services research, epidemiology, psychology or a non‑lab‑based child health research field.
- Strong commitment to staying current with disciplinary knowledge and developments.
- Demonstrated track record of high‑quality, high‑impact research outcomes and research leadership.
- Experience in translation/intervention research, especially in child health services, preferred.
- Proven ability to generate CIA grant income.
- Teamwork, interdisciplinary collaboration and effective relationship building.
- Highly developed interpersonal and organisational skills.
- Commitment to UNSW’s aims, objectives and values and relevant policies and guidelines.
- Knowledge of health and safety responsibilities and commitment to relevant training.
