About the Role
We are partnering with a leading insurance and financial services organization to identify a dynamic VP Data Management & Governance. This executive will establish and oversee an enterprise-wide data-governance framework, driving integrity, compliance, and accountability across all data assets.
- Develop and enforce enterprise data governance policies and standards.
- Lead initiatives for data ownership, classification, and lifecycle management.
- Ensure data quality, privacy, and regulatory compliance (HIPAA, GDPR).
- Oversee metadata management, data catalogs, and lineage documentation.
- Chair governance councils and collaborate with security and engineering leaders.
- Foster a culture of data stewardship and informed decision‑making.
- 10–12 years in data governance/management, with leadership experience.
- Expertise in data privacy, compliance, and governance tools.
- Bachelor's / Master’s in MIS, Computer Science, or related field.
- CDMP or DM‑BOK certification preferred.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
