The Foundation AI Research Scientist is responsible for developing large‑scale multimodal foundation models that enable next‑generation AI capabilities in clinical workflows. The role includes designing, prototyping, and deploying AI architectures, collaborating closely with AI engineers, clinical experts, and research peers.

• Design and deploy large‑scale multimodal foundation AI models for disruptive downstream performance.
• Define model distillation techniques and innovative few‑/zero‑shot methods to accelerate AI feature development.
• Collaborate with peer AI scientists, software engineers, and clinicians to translate research into real‑world medical applications.
• Drive the integration of AI systems into clinical workflows, including medical imaging, electronic health records, and real‑time monitoring.
• Ensure AI safety, reliability, and interpretability to meet clinical‑grade performance and ethical standards.
• Contribute to publications in peer‑reviewed conferences and journals; support patents and intellectual property.
• Maintain awareness of the latest literature and emerging AI technologies.

• PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or related field with a focus on machine learning, computer vision, or medical imaging.
• Elite candidates with an MS degree and strong research/industry experience may also be considered.
• Proven experience in developing and deploying AI models at scale.
• Familiarity with AI safety, compliance, and ethics in healthcare.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams.

Base Pay Range: $128,700 – $193,040 per year. Pay may vary based on geography, skills, education, and experience.
