BI Architect

We are seeking a BI Architect with strong experience in Qlik Sense and a modern data engineering mindset. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of hands‑on experience in designing, implementing, and optimizing BI solutions using Qlik Sense. While Qlik Sense will remain the primary BI platform, we are looking for someone who also brings experience with Snowflake, Data Ops practices, and dbt to help mature our analytics ecosystem.

This role focuses on BI architecture, data modeling, platform optimization, and guiding the evolution of enterprise reporting and analytics.

• Design, implement, and maintain scalable and high‑performing BI architectures using Qlik Sense and NPrinting to support organizational reporting and analytics.
• Develop data models, dashboards, and reports in Qlik Sense, ensuring they meet business requirements and performance standards.
• Design BI solutions that integrate with Snowflake, dbt, and cloud‑based data pipelines.
• Establish and enforce best practices for Qlik Sense and NPrinting, including data modeling, dashboard design, security, and performance tuning.
• Optimize data structures, load scripts, and queries to enhance the efficiency and speed of Qlik Sense applications.
• Proactively identify system and application performance issues and resolve them in collaboration with BI developers.
• Maintain security and access controls within Qlik Sense and NPrinting to ensure data integrity and compliance.
• Partner with Data Engineering and Data Ops teams to optimize Snowflake schemas, dbt models, and ELT workflows supporting BI consumption.

• 5+ years of hands‑on experience with Qlik Sense and NPrinting.
• Experience working in data warehouse environments, such as Snowflake, and cloud‑based technologies (Azure, AWS).
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with cross‑functional teams.
• Strong proficiency in data modeling, scripting, and dashboard design within Qlik Sense; advanced knowledge of NPrinting for report generation.
• Proven ability to design and implement scalable BI solutions and data models that meet business objectives.
• Advanced SQL skills to link disparate data sources and flat files.
• Deep understanding of the overall architecture of BI platforms such as Qlik, on both single‑node and multi‑node environments.
• Qlik Sense and NPrinting certifications are preferred.
• Snowflake and dbt certifications or training desired.
• Experience with AWS data sources.
• PBM‑specific knowledge and experience with transforming healthcare data is a plus but not required.
• Experience with Microsoft SQL Server is a plus.
