The OpportunityISMG is seeking an experienced and technically adept Website Operations Manager to build and maintain advanced Word Press websites, manage complex digital applications, and align marketing automation strategies with business objectives. You will leverage modern web development to optimize marketing sites and applications that drive business results, and play a strategic role in planning, managing, and overseeing the execution of digital projects for all ISMG business units.
WhatYou'll Do
- Architect, develop, and maintain complex Word Press websites, including custom themes and plugins for ISMG Business Units.
- Implement enhancements to website aesthetics, performance, and SEO in close collaboration with design and content teams according to brand guidelines.
- Optimize sites using advanced web performance techniques.
- Create custom landing pages and applications to support business unit initiatives leveraging the latest front‑end frameworks.
- Lead the integration of our websites with marketing and CRM platforms, ensuring data flows seamlessly between systems using APIs, webhooks, and middleware solutions.
- Oversee project timelines and deliverables, ensuring adherence to agile methodologies and deadlines.
- Conduct comprehensive technical analysis to optimize website performance, accessibility, security, and search technologies.
- Serve as a technical lead, translating business requirements into sophisticated web‑based solutions.
- Collaborate with global marketing teams, designers, web developers, and content creators to deliver engaging website assets.
- Guide cross‑functional teams through project planning and execution, providing accurate task estimations.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field.
- Extensive experience with custom Word Press theme/plugin development, Advanced Custom Fields, and Word Press REST API.
- Demonstrated success in managing complex web projects and teams using agile methodologies.
- Hands‑on experience with marketing technology integrations, including CRM, web analytics, and automation tools.
- Advanced understanding of web security practices and compliance.
- MySQL and database management.
- Experience with WPEngine or similar WP‑focused hosting platforms.
- Experience with Bitbucket, Bitbucket Pipelines, or similar CI/CD workflows.
- Experience with Elementor or similar WP‑based page builders.
- Familiarity with server‑side languages such as Python or Node.js.
- Ability to prepare and present project plans and performance/security reports.
- Understanding of best‑practice security standards including User Access Management, Environment testing, and more.
- Experience with Figma or other web design tools.
- Exceptional analytical and problem‑solving skills with a strong attention to detail.
