What you’ll do:

• Stay current on latest technology platform offerings, emerging technologies and its domain-specific applications, industry trends, and solution patterns.
• Contribute to developing POVs and conducting market scans for strategic decision-making, drafting CXO memos, and guiding project teams on best practices and implementation patterns.
• Leverage deep technical expertise to design and implement robust solutions that meet clients’ objectives.
• Effectively contribute to BD pursuits spanning solution approach & alternatives, estimation, and assist in client meetings to elaborate on tech-focused topics, collaborating with client account teams.
• Hands-on experience with tech & consulting architectural bent of mind to help solve project-based problems with experience in building and/or automating data pipelines, orchestration, ingestion processes.
• Lead a team of developers to enable effective data engineering, data analysis, and reporting, leveraging expertise with platforms such as Databricks, Snowflake, PySpark, DBT, and others.
• Explore beyond core data platform to understand aspects like application integration, process automation, API management, and others to enable gradual evolution into enterprise architecture role.
• Ensure highest quality of deliverables by following architecture/design guidelines, coding best practices, periodic design/code reviews, and performing code/script reviews of senior engineers in the team.
• Mentor junior practitioners through coaching & project-level guidance.
• Collaborate closely with clients to understand their challenges/goals, quality metrics, IT standards, and deliver outcomes aligned to client expectations.
• Effectively communicate technical concepts and solutions with client/project stakeholders.

What you’ll bring:

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Minimum 6-8+ relevant industry experience.
• Deep understanding of engineering principles, ability to solve complex problems, and guide the team in technical decision-making, while staying updated with industry advancements. Strong experience working for consulting organizations supporting Architecture and design capabilities to implement end-to-end solutions using modern technologies.
• Exposure/familiarity with recent developments in platforms like Databricks, Snowflake, AWS, and/or AI/ML platforms like AWS Bedrock, Databricks Mosaic, Google Gemini, Snowflake Cortex.
• Strong technology leadership skills delivering data solutions using one of the leading data platforms like Databricks, AWS EMR, etc.
• Desirable to have some exposure/experience to IT systems beyond the core data platform understanding aspects like application integration, process automation, and others.
