The Head of Alternatives & Private Markets Technology role is a pivotal leadership role within Global Technology Services. This senior leader is responsible for managing a wide range of strategy and execution activities for the business, including planning, execution and delivery of application and technology solutions in Hedge Fund Services and Private Markets which makes up the overall Alternative Investments landscape.
This role requires a strategic thinker with proven success for also ensuring the implementation of risk, regulatory and compliance initiatives of the broader Global Technology Services (GTS) organization.
ONSITE:
Due to the role requirements this job needs to be performed primarily in the office (NJ/MA).
- Refining and executing growth strategy for a substantial, market-leading offering through driving strategic and business development initiatives
- Driving strategic and operating planning processes in partnership with other leaders
- Identifying and developing relationships with clients and other third parties, and engaging c-suites of target clients
- Defining the development roadmap for the Alternative Investment Services and Private Markets program
- Overseeing end to end application development lifecycle including testing, deployment and L4 support
- Partnering with the business leadership to support the planned business growth and client onboarding
- Implementing application modernization strategy to transform legacy applications to modern scalable cloud-based solutions
- Building strong relationships with Product and Operations to understand their business requirements and deliver technology solutions.
- Communicating with senior executives on technology strategies and program status
- Establishing talent development strategies and foster a culture of innovation and accountability
- Deep expertise and proven track record in leading and delivering enterprise scale application development, tools and technologies
- Experience in Financial Services industry in the area of Alternative Investment Services and Private Markets required
- Proven experience in aligning the technology solutions with various complex business strategies and processes
- Experience leading large multifunctional application transformation work streams delivering measurable outcomes and business value including risk reduction, resiliency, simplification, reduced total cost of ownership.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability drive alignment across diverse teams and stakeholders, both internal and external
- Bachelor or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field
- 20+ years of experience in application development with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role
- Ability to manage a large team globally
Salary Range: $225,000 - $337,500 Annual (range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.)
