Job DescriptionWhat you will be doing:
- Defend lawsuits against private, commercial, and public entities, employees, and individuals regarding various claims.
- Handle cases involving negligence theories, premises liability, employment‑related claims, bullying, sexual assaults, insurance coverage, and liability disputes.
- Conduct legal research and draft motions, pleadings, discovery, legal analysis reports, and appeals.
- Conduct depositions and witness interviews.
- Appear in state and federal court or before legal forums including the DCR, EEOC, and other administrative agencies.
- Participate in conferences, oral arguments, and hearings.
- New Jersey licensed attorney.
- 2‑7 years of civil litigation experience.
- Ability to work independently and effectively with colleagues, paralegals, clients, and insurance company representatives.
- Proficient in technology, legal research, and computer/web‑based data sources.
- Clerkship following law school is preferred.
- Writing sample required.
