Senior Director, Medical Affairs – International Markets

The Senior Director, Head of Medical Affairs - International Markets, leads global medical strategy outside key regions, ensuring scientific excellence, successful product launches, and long-term value creation.

• Developing and executing regional medical strategies aligned with global objectives.
• Building and leading a high-performing Medical Affairs organization across international markets.
• Driving evidence generation, scientific engagement, and medical communications.
• Establishing external relationships with Key Opinion Leaders, scientific societies, and healthcare stakeholders.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams including commercialization, clinical development, regulatory, and market access.
• Leading evaluation and governance of partnerships, distributors, and external collaborations.
• Ensuring compliance with regulations, industry standards, and maintaining inspection readiness.
• Recruiting, developing, and mentoring Medical Affairs talent, fostering a culture of scientific integrity and innovation.

• MD, PharmD, PhD, or equivalent degree.
• At least 15 years of leadership experience in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry, with 10+ years managing global Medical Affairs teams.
• Extensive oncology or hematology experience preferred.
• Proven success in late-stage development, product launch, and lifecycle management.
• Strong leadership, strategic thinking, scientific credibility, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience working in diverse international markets and complex organizational structures.

Lead regional medical strategies, scientific engagement, evidence generation, external partnerships, and cross-functional collaboration to support innovative therapies and ensure compliance and high-quality standards.
