As a Compo under – 2nd Shift you’ll be working to support the plant’s day‑to‑day operations. You’ll be supported by your team with possibilities to grow into a Manufacturing Professional and directly impact the quality of our products – helping to improve real lives.

• Compound chemicals to create fragrance products by operating automated and semi‑automated pumps, filters, scales and computer systems.
• Precisely and safely fill raw materials into tanks, ensuring grounding and bonding, preventing under‑filling or over‑filling, and reporting any deviations.
• Complete batches, including scanning partial components for final batches.
• Utilize a computer to obtain detailed formula information and availability of raw materials, post batches, check inventory and print labels.
• Use computer systems such as Weight Assisted Computer (WAC), Management Enterprise System (MES), and SAP for material scanning, material lookup, and goods receipt.
• Verify scale calibration and perform precision weighing using WAC and correct scales.

• High School diploma or prior experience in a manufacturing environment.
• 1–3 years of chemical manufacturing experience.
• Knowledge of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points).
• Ability to tolerate strong odors and allergens.

The salary or hourly wage scale reflects the pay range DSM‑Firmenich expects to pay the successful candidate for the position. Individual pay offered will be based on the applicant’s job‑related skills, experience, relevant education, or training, and primary work location. Salary $27.00–$29.00.
