Event Marketing Manager Princeton, NJ

The Princeton market is crowded;
Dollar General's next Event Marketing Manager wins by being remembered, not just heard. This Event Marketing Manager role hands manager talent $137,000 - $195,000, an internship arrangement in NJ, and the latitude to call the shots.

• A knack for translating customer insights into sharper campaign briefs
• Dig into Klaviyo funnels and fix the step where buyers vanish
• Pull the quietly-excellent case study that closes a stalled Princeton deal
• Grow Dollar General's mission-driven footprint one earned introduction at a time
• Run discovery calls that uncover budget without asking for it
• Chase the sales marketing whitespace no rep in NJ has worked
• Walk NJ partners through co-marketing they'll say yes to

• Self-direction that survives a quiet Slack channel
• Written communication clear enough to survive a forwarded email chain
• Professionalism, integrity, and discretion with sensitive information
• A collaborator's reflex to share credit and absorb blame
• The self-awareness to know which problems are yours to solve
• A teammate's instinct to unblock others before yourself
• A Dollar General mindset: scrappy today, scalable tomorrow

For all its joyfully-rigorous ambition, Dollar General still operates like the scrappy Princeton startup that first cracked sales marketing years ago. Around here, "I don't know yet" is a perfectly respectable sentence and often the start of something good.

Start strong at $137,000 - $195,000, grow with a mentor, settle into benefits, and enjoy flexibility that finally fits Princeton.
