Overview

Member Service Representative role at Greater Somerset County YMCA (GSCY) in Somerset County, New Jersey. • Serve members, guests, and program participants in a prompt and courteous manner.
• Assist with front desk operations, member inquiries, and administrative tasks to support the branch's daily operations.
• Help uphold the YMCA's Welcoming and Inclusive culture and contribute to the organization's Cause-Driven initiatives.
• Problem-solve and perform computer/administrative tasks to best serve the branch's 10,000 members.

• Member or customer service, hospitality, or related experience preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and able to learn the database program (training provided).
• Strong speaking, communication, and critical thinking skills.
• Experience with multi-tasking, problem solving and conflict resolution.
• Ability to work as part of a team; flexible, reliable, and adaptable; self-motivated and able to work without direct supervision.
• Fundraising experience is a plus; bilingual and multicultural experience is a plus.

Flexible part-time hours; evenings and weekends are specifically sought.
