Why Join Our Team?

  • Penn Medicine Princeton Health (PMPH) is seeking a full-time RN (Registered Nurse) to work the day shift within Princeton House Behavioral Health (PHBH). This position is within Wing 3 (Drug and Alcohol Unit/Detox and Dual diagnosis) with 28 beds.
  • We offer medically monitored detoxification and treatment for alcohol and benzodiazepines. Our skilled staff helps you safely manage withdrawal symptoms and cravings while keeping you as comfortable as possible. Medication-assisted treatment, group therapy, and other services aid your recovery.

Location:

Princeton House Behavioral Health (905 Herrontown Road Princeton, NJ).

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Develops and maintains a plan of nursing care based on goals derived from identified needs; revises the patients individualized plan of care as indicated.
  • Implements individualized nursing plan of care, consistent with established policies, procedures, and protocols.
  • Evaluates and documents patient responses to nursing care, and participates in evaluating and improving the delivery of care on the unit.
  • Demonstrates accuracy in entering medication orders on the computer and medication administration.
  • Provides appropriate coordination of care and intervention to patients undergoing a psychiatric or medical emergency.

Scheduling Requirements:

  • 5 day shifts a week, 7am-3pm.
  • Every other weekend requirement.

What We Require for this Role:

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree required, or in pursuit of.
  • An RNs with an Associate’s Degree with greater than 5 years of clinical experience in a clinical specialty may also be considered.

Related Work Experience

  • 15 months of RN experience required.

Licensure, Certification or Registration Requirement

  • Basic Life Support (BLS).
  • Active RN NJ license.

Salary Range: $49.96 - $68.99 per hour. As part of their job offer, successful candidates are provided a specific rate, taking into consideration various factors including experience and education.
