Why Join Our Team?The Eating Disorder Partial Hospital Program is a specialized program working solely with patients struggling with eating disorders in an outpatient setting.
This role blends medical monitoring with therapeutic engagement, offering a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of physical health and mental wellness.
Treatment provides a structured environment to challenge and decondition eating disorder fears surrounding food and weight, while engaging in psychological support for motivation, distress tolerance, emotion regulation, building a diversified self-concept and relapse prevention.
Scheduling Requirements:- Full-time Monday-Friday 8am-4:30pm OR 8:30am-5:00pm
- Closed on weekends.
- Voluntary program/not on a locked down unit.
- Provide direct patient care, including assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient's physical and behavioral health needs on a continuous basis
- Respond to or assist with medical emergencies
- As part of the multi-disciplinary team, you will participate in decision‑making, teaching, and coordination of care
- Provide initial and ongoing education to patients and their family
- Keep up to date with knowledge of medications, specifically psychotropic medications – including side effects, contraindications, therapeutic levels, and required/advisable health maintenance.
- Administer medications as prescribed by provider. This includes injectable forms of medications which may require outpatient coordination at the time of discharge to ensure continuity of care
- Maintain accurate documentation and logs
- Collect vital signs, weight, height, waist circumference, urine drug screens as ordered or as it applies to standard policy
- Demonstrate strong organization, therapeutic communication, and leadership skills
- Adhere to all state nursing standards and policies as well as facility and corporate policies and procedures

Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) required or in pursuit of required.
- 15 months of RN experience required.
- Experience working with patients with eating disorders preferred.
- Previous behavioral health experience preferred.
- Active NJ RN license required

Salary Range: $40.80 - $60.34/Hourly
