Practice Overview

Looking for motivated and friendly veterinarian, as an addition to our growing family oriented veterinary practice. Happy Pets Veterinary Hospital has been in business now for 9 years! We are a 7 day a week practice, and see a mix of preventative care, urgent care and emergency cases daily. We have an outside company provide ultrasound services weekly at the practice, we also have an orthopedist available most Thursdays to perform any, and all complicated surgeries.

Our staff is very motivated, and skilled, with most boasting emergency and specialty veterinary experience. Our scheduling for success, for providing the best customer care and amazing customer service, include 2 doctors working in tandem Monday
- Friday, and single doctor Saturdays and Sundays. With another doctor added to the practice we could potentially add a 3rd doctor during normal business hours during the week, and a second doctor on Saturdays. For the right associate, we provide a competitive baseline salary of $160,000 with a pro-sal percentage of 23% with no negative accrual. We provide full medical, dental and vision coverage.

HPVH will also pay for any doctor licensing fees. CE allowance provided as well in addition to 3 weeks paid vacation.

• College and Veterinary degree
• Licensed in the state of New Jersey
• Experience a plus, but not required
• English and Spanish fluency a plus
• Ability to work cooperatively with other doctors and staff
• Ability to be quick and responsive in emergency situations
• USDA accreditation a plus, but not required
• Ability to perform basic surgeries like spays, neuters and minor mass removals
