Reports To: Quality Supervisor
Work Schedule: Monday - Thursday, 3:00pm to 1:00am
Starting Pay Range:
$22.00 - $25.50/Hour
$2.00 per hour shift differential for 2nd shift
Where a candidate falls within the pay range will vary based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, geographic location, education, skills and experience.
Summary: The Quality Technician ensures product quality and compliance with regulatory standards. This role is responsible for reviewing production records, verifying raw material acceptability, conducting proofing processes, and addressing quality or process‑related issues on the production floor.
Essential Functions- Monitor and promote compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and regulatory requirements.
- Participate in Quality System verifications, HACCP program maintenance as well as facility inspections and audits.
- Perform customer required inspections and audits of finished products.
- Perform detailed record reviews.
- Analyze and correct products for proof, pH, clarity and color in compliance with TTB regulations and customer requirements while prioritizing tasks based on the production schedule.
- Respond promptly to production floor calls for quality‑related support and troubleshooting.
- Assist in investigating and addressing non‑conforming products and raw materials by gathering relevant data and generating alerts.
- Support complaint investigations and contribute to solutions for quality concerns.
- Maintain accurate, up‑to‑date records, including TTB documentation, batch tickets, and lab reports.
- Analyze tanker samples promptly, maintaining a one‑hour turnaround.
- Calibrate and clean laboratory equipment regularly to ensure testing accuracy.
- Monitor lab supplies and coordinate restocking to avoid disruptions in operations.
- Test wastewater and stormwater pH and proof, ensuring compliance with environmental standards.
- Provide support for tasting setups and other quality assurance processes.
- Contribute to waste management compliance and water quality monitoring.
- Performs all other related duties as assigned.
