Job Summary

We are seeking an energetic and customer-focused Sales Associate to join our Value-Added Reseller (VAR) team in Princeton, NJ. The ideal candidate will have strong sales skills, a passion for delivering tailored IT solutions, and the ability to build lasting client relationships. This role will focus on selling hardware, software, cloud solutions, and related services while providing value-added support to ensure client success.



Key Responsibilities

  • Engage with customers to understand their needs and recommend tailored VAR solutions.
  • Sell hardware, software, networking equipment, and cloud-based services from leading technology vendors (e.g., Apple, Microsoft, Dell, Cisco, HP).
  • Provide consultative sales, emphasizing value-added benefits such as installation, configuration, support, and managed services.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of vendor product lines, certifications, and promotions.
  • Meet or exceed monthly sales targets and KPIs.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients.
  • Collaborate with internal technical teams to design and deliver complete solutions.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitor offerings.
Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in business, marketing, or technology.
  • 1–3 years of experience in sales, preferably within a Value-Added Reseller (VAR) environment.
  • Strong interpersonal and consultative selling skills.
  • Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and familiarity with CRM tools.
  • Self-motivated with a results-driven approach.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Skills

  • Experience working with major technology vendors and distributor channels.
  • Knowledge of licensing, IT procurement processes, and vendor certification programs.
  • Understanding of IT infrastructure, networking, and cloud computing.
