Research Scientist
Princeton Plasma Physics Laboratory (PPPL) seeks a HTS Research Scientist to lead the design, development, and deployment of a reel-to-reel coated conductor inspection system for high-field, low-temperature HTS measurements. You will build a compact, portable scanning system with Hall sensor arrays and a liquid-cryogen-free cooling system to map critical currents (Ic) from meters to hundreds of meters for commercial HTS tapes.
The role requires a Ph.D.
