QA Software Engineer

Princeton, NJ. Travel to client sites may be required within BLS Area NY-NJ-PA.

Requires Master’s Degree in Info Tech/Comp Engineering/Related field.

• Assess and analyze business requirements.
• Prepare test plans, test cases, and automation.
• Write and assign tasks and track the progress of testing; keep tracking tools current.
• Ensure build verification and regression tests are performed and results reported.
• Ensure all defects are logged and properly reported using bug/defect tracking tool.
• Prepare automated test cases and regression test cases.
• Maintain test scripts.
• Perform system, integration, Smoke, Sanity, Functional, End-to-End, Positive and Negative testing and monitor application behavior during different testing phases.
• Attend general Scrums, Sprint planning, strategizing sessions, technical discussions, and project related status meetings.
• Communicate effectively and succinctly to management and project team members.
