Delivery Driver

Overview

Community Options, Inc. is a national non-profit agency providing services to individuals with disabilities in 12 states.

We are seeking a Part-time Delivery Driver to work for our Vaseful Flowers and Gifts Enterprise in Princeton, NJ
. The Delivery Driver loads and transports arrangements to customer’s homes, business, municipal buildings, hospitals and any location required by the business, using a company vehicle. The Delivery Driver also acts as a stand in for program transportation as needed.

Starting pay is $16.00/hour

• Loads and transports flowers arrangements to delivery sites, as indicated by business needs
• Performs any tasks needed by shop involving driving, including but not limited to bank visits, supply pick up or delivery and transportation of consumers to and from homes
• Attends staff meetings as determined by supervisor
• Attend any necessary trainings
• Must cooperate with the licensee and department staff in any inspection, inquiry or investigation
• Additional tasks and responsibilities may be assigned

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license with satisfactory driving record
• The ability to exercise good judgment and remain calm in a crisis situation
• The ability to interact with a wide range of people
• Ability to establish a comfortable and supportive relationship with consumers
• Ability to read and write English
• Ability to lift 50 pounds

• Employee travels utilizing company provided vehicles
• Frequent lifting, stretching and other physical exertion
• Will be exposed to various plants and pollens
