REM Community Services
, part of the Sevita family, offers community-based services to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. As a Caregiver Direct Support Professional (DSP), you will build meaningful relationships and support participants in achieving daily living skills and community engagement.
- Provide personal care, including hygiene and assistance with daily activities.
- Support participants in meeting developmental goals such as budgeting, dental hygiene, exercise, and nutrition.
- Assist with community activities, ensuring participants enjoy their favorite activities.
- Maintain safety and behavioral support for individuals with autism and related conditions.
- Work independently and collaborate with supervisors to make participant-centered decisions.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 6 months direct care or human services experience preferred.
- Valid driver’s license with a registered vehicle and proof of insurance (required for some positions).
- Patient, compassionate, reliable, responsible, and dependable.
- $14.75 hourly; on-demand pay plus weekly or daily options.
