DescriptionSun is seeking a Senior Manager, Clinical Outsourcing within its Clinical Outsourcing Team in Princeton, NJ. The Senior Manager will report into the Senior Director, Clinical Outsourcing and will lead and manage the clinical trial outsourcing, vendor selection and contract negotiation, vendor management, and reporting process for Sun Pharmaceutical’s clinical development programs.
Responsibilities- Vendor selection and contract negotiation:
Guide project teams through the outsourcing process and provide best practice advice; develop RFPs; negotiate budgets, payment schedules and relationship management plans. - Vendor management:
Participate in kickoff meetings, support quality and timeliness of deliverables, monitor relationships and facilitate resolution of issues; ensure communication and performance assessment. - Support Outsourcing Team:
Manage statement of work and contract trackers; maintain naming conventions; analyze contract spend and develop cost‑saving guidelines; support budgeting models and FP&A activities. - Cross‑Functional Support:
Assist with clinical trial budgeting models, FP&A needs, vendor oversight, and process improvement design; build relationships across functions and stakeholders.
- BA or MS in a relevant discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years clinical outsourcing experience.
- Experience managing CROs, laboratories and other clinical study vendors within budget, on time and with high quality.
- Strong leadership, communication and problem‑solving skills.
- Extensive knowledge of GCP and ICH principles of clinical trial conduct.
The presently‑anticipated base compensation pay range for this position is $121,500 to $174,000. Actual base compensation may vary based on a number of factors, including but not limited to geographical location and experience. In addition, this position is part of the Annual Performance Bonus Plan and may be eligible for a company vehicle and incentive bonus compensation.
