Hospital Medicine Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant (NP/PA) – Princeton, WV
Locum Tenens | 7P–7A Nights | 7 On / 7 Off | No Procedures

Rhino Medical is leading the charge seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for Hospital Medicine locum tenens coverage in Princeton, West Virginia.

This is a dedicated nocturnist opportunity offering a predictable 7-on/7-off schedule, 12-hour night shifts, and a focused inpatient Hospital Medicine scope. The NP/PA will support rounding and admissions within an established hospitalist program, with physicians handling the majority of admissions and no procedures required.

Schedule

• 7:00 PM–7:00 AM
• 7 nights on / 7 nights off
• Seven-night blocks begin on Mondays
• Ongoing locum tenens coverage

Clinical Scope

• Inpatient Hospital Medicine
• Rounding and admissions
• Approximately 3–5 admissions per shift
• Physicians handle the majority of admissions
• No procedures required

Practice Environment

• 203-bed acute-care hospital
• Established inpatient hospitalist coverage
• Approximately 100–115 patients managed across the hospitalist service over each 24-hour period
• Dedicated overnight coverage

Requirements

• Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
• Appropriate West Virginia licensure
• Experience appropriate for independent overnight inpatient Hospital Medicine coverage
• Comfortable with inpatient rounding and admissions
