Caregiver, Healthcare Nursing, Home Health Aide

Almost Family, Inc. is looking to hire a full‑time Caregiver in the Prineville, Oregon area. This role helps seniors and disabled individuals remain independent in their own homes. The caregiver will provide personal care and companionship services.

$20.00/hr – $22.00/hr

The Caregiver role pays between $20 and $22 per hour, paid biweekly. As part of the Almost Family Team, the Caregiver will enjoy a variety of benefits, including paid time off, healthcare benefits, development opportunities and paid training.

• Provide personal care and assistance with activities of daily living for clients, including bathing, grooming, dressing, meal preparation, and more
• Monitor clients' health and document their needs
• Establish and maintain a safe and supportive environment for clients
• Adhere to health and safety policies and regulations
• Provide companionship and emotional support
• Assist with light housekeeping tasks, such as laundry and housekeeping
• Escort clients to medical appointments and other activities
• Assist with transportation to and from doctor’s appointments and other errands

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• At least one year of experience caring for seniors or disabled individuals
• Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screening
• Valid driver's license and auto insurance
• CPR and First Aid certification
• Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
