Job DescriptionPark Nicollet is hiring LPNs, Medical Assistants, and EMTs to join our Primary Care team. Come join us as a Partner for Good and help us make an impact on the care and experience that our patients and families receive every day.
Position SummaryThe role involves providing patient care including:
- Escorting patients to exam rooms and documenting visit information and vitals.
- Preparing and administering medications and immunizations as directed by a clinician, RN, or standing orders.
- Performing and assisting with procedures such as ear lavage, EKGs, and bladder scans under clinician direction.
- Ensuring the standard rooming process, including medication reconciliation and completion of appropriate forms and questionnaires.
- Maintaining knowledge of all relevant laws, regulations, policies, procedures and standards.
Must meet one of the following:
- Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN):
Graduate from an accredited practical nursing school and maintain a current state license of practical nursing. - Medical Assistant (MA):
Graduate from an accredited Medical Assisting program accredited by CAAHEP or ABHES. - Emergency Medical Technician (EMT):
Graduate from an accredited EMT program and hold a current Minnesota EMT license.
Additionally, BLS certification through the American Heart Association or Red Cross is required and must be maintained; online BLS certification is not acceptable.
Preferred Qualifications- One or more years of healthcare experience, preferably in a related medical field.
