Assistant Manager – Prior Lake, MN

We’re hiring assistant managers to lead our stores. Be the boss who ensures that every team member, including the supervisor and yourself, performs at their best. This role requires judgment, math skills, and the ability to multitask.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all activities during shift – cost controls, inventory, cash, and customer relations.
• Enforce company policy and procedures consistently.
• Staff scheduling, paperwork, and stock management.
• Ensure store cleanliness, marketing, profitability, and adherence to standards.
• Supervise crew to deliver excellent customer service and maintain attendance.
• Transport company property and maintain a safe, professional environment.

Qualifications

Required skills include:

• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Basic math and accurate cash handling.
• Computer/keyboard proficiency.
• Ability to navigate delivery routes and locate addresses.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle for deliveries.

Training

Orientation and on‑the‑job training will be provided.

Essential Functions & Skills

• Perform accurate calculations quickly.
• Read maps, navigate multi‑story buildings, and deliver products.
• Use hand‑tools effectively while maintaining speed and precision.
• Operate touch screens or keyboards to enter orders.

Work Conditions Exposure

• Adverse weather while outside tasks.
• Temperature variations from 36°F to 90°F+.
• Smoke, cornmeal dust, and hot surfaces.
• Sharp edges, mechanical parts, and confined spaces.

Sensing

• Telephone talking and hearing, moderate vision for in‑store tasks.
• Depth perception and the ability to see hot/cold surfaces.
• Night vision for driving at night.

Temperament

Direct activities, work under stress, make judgments, analyze data, and handle people.

Physical Requirements Standing & Walking

• Stand for prolonged periods; walk inside and outside the store.
• Travel between store and delivery vehicle.

Sitting

Complete paperwork at a desk on shift.

Lifting

• Lift delivery cases up to 50 pounds.
• Stack shelves up to 72 inches.
• Lay pieces of equipment or inventory.

Carrying & Pushing

• Carry canned supplies, sauces, dough trays, and pizza.
• Push/dollies trays up to 24–30 inches with a force up to 7.5 lbs.

Climbing & Stooping

• Navigate flights of stairs when delivering.
• Stooped at assembly stations.

Crouching/Squatting & Reaching

• Occasional squatting to stock shelves.
• Reach above 72 inches to adjust ovens and signs.

Driving

• Deliver pizzas within the designated area.
• Deliver flyers and door hangers.

Hand Tasks & Tools

• Use hands for dough shaping, pizza peel handling, and box assembly.
• Operate tools like pizza cutter, rolling cutter, and equipment keyboards.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Access to an insured vehicle for delivery duties.
