Job Title: Business Development Executive

Job Summary

We seek a motivated and results-driven Business Development Executive to join our dynamic team in the solar industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales growth by generating leads, building relationships with potential customers, and promoting our solar energy solutions. This role requires a strong understanding of solar products, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to sales.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sales Development:
  • Identify and target new business opportunities within assigned territories. Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve sales targets and expand market presence.
  • Customer Acquisition:
  • Prospect, qualify, and generate new business leads through various channels, including cold calling, networking, and referrals. Conduct on-site meetings and presentations to potential clients.
  • Product Knowledge:
  • Maintain an in-depth understanding of our solar products and services. Educate potential customers about the benefits of solar energy and address any questions or concerns.
  • Relationship Building:
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients. Provide exceptional customer service and follow-up to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Sales Process Management:
  • Manage the entire sales process from initial contact to closing. Prepare and present proposals, negotiate terms, and close deals.
  • Market Analysis:
  • Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities. Provide feedback and insights to the sales team and management to improve strategies and offerings.
  • Reporting:
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and pipeline status. Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts for management review.
  • Compliance:
  • Ensure all sales activities comply with company policies, legal regulations, and industry standards.
Qualifications
  • Qualifications:
    MBA, BBA

Experience: Proven experience in field sales, preferably within the solar or renewable energy sector. A strong track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets is essential.

Skills Required

Excellent in sales and negotiation skills with a strong ability to build relationships and influence decision-makers. Exceptional communication and presentation skills.

Knowledge

Solid understanding of solar energy products, technologies, and industry trends. Ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

Attributes

Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Technology

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM software. Ability to adapt to new technology and tools as needed.

Additional Information

Travel: This role requires frequent travel within the assigned territory.
