The Regional Technical Sales Manager will be responsible for driving sales growth by combining a strong technical understanding with exceptional customer relationship-building skills. They will work closely with clients and prospects to generate new business, manage existing relationships, and contribute to the company’s overall sales strategy.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage the entire sales process from prospecting to closing deals.
- Prospect and identify new business opportunities and generate leads to grow the customer base.
- Build and maintain long‑term relationships with clients, ensuring customer satisfaction and retention.
- Negotiate contracts, close deals, and ensure smooth handovers to the operations team.
- Carry out site surveys.
- Conduct market research and stay up‑to‑date on industry trends and competitor offerings.
- 3+ years of sales experience, ideally within a Construction/Plant‑related sector (not essential, but highly preferred). We also welcome applicants from the Construction/Plant sector who are interested in transitioning into sales.
- Ability to build and maintain long lasting, mutually beneficial relationships with existing and prospective customers.
- Self‑motivated, energetic, and passionate about finding solutions, with the ability to prioritise within a small team.
- Effective communication and negotiation skills, along with strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Target‑driven to align with company’s revenue and margin targets.
- Outwardly straightforward, highly organised with strong administrative skills and a proven track record of accomplishment.
- Ability to interpret site drawings is an advantage.
- Degree of IT literacy required.
- Full driving licence essential.
