Position Overview

The Regional Technical Sales Manager will be responsible for driving sales growth by combining a strong technical understanding with exceptional customer relationship-building skills. They will work closely with clients and prospects to generate new business, manage existing relationships, and contribute to the company’s overall sales strategy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage the entire sales process from prospecting to closing deals.
  • Prospect and identify new business opportunities and generate leads to grow the customer base.
  • Build and maintain long‑term relationships with clients, ensuring customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Negotiate contracts, close deals, and ensure smooth handovers to the operations team.
  • Carry out site surveys.
  • Conduct market research and stay up‑to‑date on industry trends and competitor offerings.
Requirements
  • 3+ years of sales experience, ideally within a Construction/Plant‑related sector (not essential, but highly preferred). We also welcome applicants from the Construction/Plant sector who are interested in transitioning into sales.
  • Ability to build and maintain long lasting, mutually beneficial relationships with existing and prospective customers.
  • Self‑motivated, energetic, and passionate about finding solutions, with the ability to prioritise within a small team.
  • Effective communication and negotiation skills, along with strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
  • Target‑driven to align with company’s revenue and margin targets.
  • Outwardly straightforward, highly organised with strong administrative skills and a proven track record of accomplishment.
  • Ability to interpret site drawings is an advantage.
  • Degree of IT literacy required.
  • Full driving licence essential.
  • Travel throughout a large territory.
