The Express Lube Technician is responsible for performing minor repairs and inspections on vehicles in a quick thorough manner as assigned and in accordance with factory and dealership specifications and time standards.

• Do the right thing!
• Performs oil changes on guest vehicles.
• Inspects oil, cabin, air filters and vehicle fluid level and replaces or replenishes as necessary.
• Check’s tire pressures and adds air, as needed.
• Rotates tires and inspects brake linings/drums and brake pads/discs.
• Performs a thorough check of guest’s vehicles, refers needed repairs and preventive maintenance to Service Consultant.
• Documents all work performed on repair order and inspection sheet.
• Operates and maintains in good condition all lubrication equipment.
• Assists the service department, as needed.
• Operates all tools and equipment in a safe manner.
• Achieves the production objectives set by management.
• Maintains assigned workspace in an organized and clean manner.
• Maintains high ethical standards in all actions.
• Maintains a high level of grooming, hygiene, and uniform appearance

• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• Must have a valid TX driver’s license, have, and maintain an acceptable safe driving record.
• Experience working as a lube technician in a dealership/shop OR currently attending a trade school or automotive program is required.
• Knowledge of automotive parts; basic mathematical principles (adding, subtracting, multiplying, dividing, and percentages) and application.
• Ability to pay attention to detail; follow-up with internal and external guests; read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals; read and comprehends instructions and information in the English language; work well with the public; communicate in a professional manner on the phone, Internet and in person; and use standard office equipment.

• Frequently bend, stretch, twist, or reach with their body, arms, and/or legs; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and talk or hear.

• Adjusting, moving, and lifting objects up to 50 pounds.
• Moving self in different positions to accomplish tasks in various environments including tight and confined spaces.
• Remaining in a stationary position, often standing, or sitting for prolonged periods.
• Operating motor vehicles and/or heavy equipment.
• Ascending or descending ladders, stairs, scaffolding, ramps, and poles.
