Provides support for the Kids’ Worship Ministry and assists the Worship Ministry at Prestonwood Baptist Church – North Campus (“PBC – NC”).

Responsibilities:

• Provide administrative assistance including maintaining accurate databases, managing Planning Center, music printing, room reservations and setups, calendar requests, weekly e-mails, reporting attendance, ordering supplies, etc.
• Assist the Kids’ Worship team to cultivate and create semester themes for Beginner and PreK/Kinder choirs
• Assist with Kids’ auditions, planning, scheduling, and set ups
• Direct weekly Powerful Praise rehearsals (teach motions, devotional, Bible story, memory verse, songs and concert script)
• Provide weekly classroom support for kids and volunteers
• Work with the Media department for concert planning and execution
• Prepare Green Room for Sunday morning Worship Team by ensuring coffee, water, and breakfast snacks are readily available
• Recruit volunteers for Powerful Praise and assist in recruiting volunteers to help in other worship areas
• Maintain volunteer contact list and manage classroom ratios
• Ensure volunteer screening processes are followed
• Assist with various projects as needed
• Coordinate with other ministry areas to execute events
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Growing relationship with Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior as an active member of PBC-NC
• Strong desire and ability to serve with a sense of calling to the Worship Ministry
• A heart for people
• Ability to handle multiple responsibilities simultaneously
• Project management skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency with applied software and technology
• Ability to read music and basic understanding of musical terminology is a plus
• Ability to work a varied schedule, generally Monday – Friday with occasional Sundays and Wednesday nights as needed
• Able to work at a desk with a computer screen for extended periods of time and to perform physical activities that require moving one’s whole body, such as walking, stooping, lifting, pushing/pulling a cart, and use of stairs and be able to lift, push, pull and carry up to 20 pounds without assistance
