Christian Learning Center; CLC Classroom Teacher

Join to apply for the Christian Learning Center (CLC) Classroom Teacher ) role at Prestonwood Baptist Church.

Participates in classroom activities that promote growth and learning through various activities for children aged 8 weeks to 5 years.

• Attend planning sessions and carry out classroom responsibilities.
• Take on at least one specific activity daily to support the weekly unit coordinated by the Classroom Director.
• Apply appropriate teaching methods based on the age group of children.
• Promote the overall educational philosophy of the program.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Growing relationship with Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, as an active member of a Bible-believing and preaching church.
• High school diploma.
• Passionate about preschool education and able to articulate the Gospel message in an age-appropriate manner.
• Experience in education/preschool setting is very helpful.
• Great communication skills with children and adults.
• Able to perform physical activities such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, and stooping; able to lift up to 30 pounds without assistance.
