Longo Toyota of Prosper is looking for a dedicated Service Consultant to act as a liaison between guests and technicians, ensuring exceptional guest service. The role requires positive attitude, adaptability, teamwork, and stellar communication skills across in-person, online, and phone channels. This full‑time position includes weekend work as scheduled and may be suitable for bilingual candidates.

• Promote service sales by communicating maintenance and repair needs identified during appointments or warranty campaigns.
• Manage the vehicle service repair process from guest arrival to vehicle return.
• Offer logical diagnostic services or repairs to satisfy guest concerns.
• Present a service menu of recommended maintenance services.
• Promote and provide estimates for labor, parts, and accessories.
• Provide a complete and accurate written cost estimate for labor and parts, as supplied by the technician.
• Properly, thoroughly, and legibly write repair orders for all serviced vehicles.
• Carefully inspect finished repair orders for completion, pricing accuracy, and legibility.
• Maintain communication with guests regarding changes in estimates or promised times.
• Maintain communication with the Parts department and technical staff regarding job status and changes.
• Remain continuously posted on the shop’s workload to determine work that the shop can accommodate quickly.
• Advise guests on vehicle care and the value of maintaining their vehicles per manufacturer specifications.
• Answer guest questions over the phone, internet, and in person.
• Perform other administrative functions as directed by service management.
• Achieve production and guest satisfaction objectives set by management.
• Maintain an organized and clean workspace.
• Maintain a professional appearance at all times.
• Maintain high ethical standards in all actions.

• High school diploma or equivalent, plus a minimum of two (2) years of automotive diagnostic experience.
• Associates Degree (AA) from a two‑year college or technical school is desired.
• Knowledge of vehicle products and warranties.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Sound mathematical principles (addition, subtraction, division, multiplication, percentages).
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
• Ability to read and interpret operating and maintenance instructions in English.
• Proficiency in standard office equipment.
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable, safe driving record.
• Availability to work between 10:00 AM and 7:00 PM and on most Saturdays.
• Must act enthusiastically as a liaison between guests and technicians.
