JOB SUMMARYThe Town of Prosper is currently seeking a qualified and dedicated Crime Analyst to support the Police Department and Town leadership.
Hiring Range: $51,882.61 - $59,665.00

EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATIONS- Bachelor’s degree in related field.
- Two (2) years of experience in crime analysis.
- Strong background with Power BI and SharePoint preferred.
- Must pass a drug screen and background check
- Must have a Class C Texas Driver’s License
Any combination of experience and training that would likely provide the required knowledge and abilities is qualifying.
RESPONSIBILITIESThe Crime Analyst performs complex research, statistical analysis, and GIS mapping to review and interpret crime data, patterns, and trends. The position develops dashboards, reports, spreadsheets, and maps to support information management and decision-making. The role provides actionable intelligence to assist in criminal investigations, crime forecasting, and proactive crime prevention, while establishing methods for employees to access and utilize relevant crime information.
