This is an ideal opportunity for a true supply chain generalist who enjoys wearing multiple hats and driving execution across the entire supply chain. Rather than operating in a traditional manufacturing environment, the company manages a network of third-party manufacturers, suppliers, warehousing partners, and logistics providers. Success in this role requires strong coordination skills, analytical problem-solving, and the ability to build relationships across both internal stakeholders and external business partners.
Key Responsibilities- Support purchasing, inventory, logistics, and supply planning activities to ensure product availability and operational efficiency.
- Analyze inventory levels, product movement, supplier performance, and logistics activity to identify risks, opportunities, and operational improvements.
- Coordinate with contract manufacturers, suppliers, distribution partners, and transportation providers to maintain smooth product flow across the supply chain.
- Monitor purchase orders, lead times, inbound shipments, and inventory positions while proactively addressing potential disruptions.
- Develop reports, dashboards, and analyses that help leadership make informed business decisions.
- Partner with Operations, Finance, Sales, and external partners to solve supply chain challenges and improve overall performance.
- A well-rounded supply chain professional with experience across multiple areas of supply chain management.
- Background in purchasing, procurement, inventory control, logistics, planning, demand management, operations, or supplier management.
- Experience working with external vendors, suppliers, manufacturers, 3PLs, or distribution partners.
- Strong analytical skills with advanced Excel proficiency and experience using ERP or inventory management systems.
- Ability to manage competing priorities, communicate effectively, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Someone who is proactive, detail-oriented, resourceful, and capable of turning data into actionable business recommendations.
