The Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) ensures and delivers high‑quality, patient‑centered care and coordination of all functions in the unit during the designated shift. The CNC directs, monitors, and evaluates nursing care in accordance with established policies, serves as a resource for staff, and models commitment to the organization’s vision, mission, and values to support an unparalleled patient experience and clinical outcomes.
WhatYou Will Do
- Assist with admission and discharge processes to ensure efficient throughput and high‑quality patient‑centered care.
- Participate in ongoing assessment of patient care quality in collaboration with management.
- Collaborate with subject‑matter experts and managers to foster teamwork and improved outcomes.
- Support a patient‑first philosophy and engage in service recovery when necessary.
- Help operationalize nursing strategies such as employee rounding, hourly rounds, and other initiatives.
- Provide recommendations for interviewing, selecting, and training new staff; implement training, conflict resolution, policy compliance, performance evaluations, and disciplinary actions.
- Assist with staff scheduling and manage labor in accordance with patient needs and productivity guidelines.
- Support inventory control and manage supplies and equipment.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
- Registered Nurse license.
- BSN required.
- Minimum 1 year acute‑care RN experience.
- Charge RN experience.
Full‑time Nights 7 PM‑7 AM. This position may be eligible for a $15,000 sign‑on bonus.
