Schedule:
Monday‑Friday 8:00 AM‑5:00 PM. On‑site position in the Medical City Dallas Area, Dallas, TX. Focus on Pediatric Congenital Heart patients.

The Nurse Navigator functions as a member of the multidisciplinary team, serving as an advocate and educator for patients with all types of medical conditions. Primary responsibilities include supporting patients through complex healthcare environments, facilitating follow‑up, coaching, information transfer, and communication to improve continuity of care. The Navigator guides patients and families through the healthcare system, assists with appointments, resolves barriers, provides education, and connects with community resources.
Accountable for management of resources to achieve efficient, high‑quality outcomes and for timely data collection to track program performance. Identifies opportunities to streamline care practice through evidence‑based guidelines and ensures quality patient‑focused care.
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
- 3+ years of clinical experience – required.
- 3+ years as a Nurse Navigator and/or patient educator in the service line – preferred.
- 3+ years minimum Peds/PICU experience – preferred.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BSLS) – required.
- Registered Nurse – currently licensed in your state.
- Service Line Specialty Certification – preferred.
