Logistics Account Executive
The Logistics Account Executive is responsible for generating new sales and managing the day-to-day freight operations of shipments and customer accounts. This role is vital in providing quality customer service, fostering team morale, and maintaining a positive branch culture. The Account Executive must perform activities that deliver results, build customer trust, and achieve above-average gross revenue and profits to meet branch goals.
Responsibilities include freight sales, customer spot pricing, carrier price negotiation, and operational duties.

Responsibilities :
Develop new customer sales.Use various prospecting methods to generate leads and solicit freight.Build sustainable customer relationships and encourage growth.Deliver cost-effective solutions to attract and retain customers.Manage broker and customer service aspects of shipments and accounts.Communicate effectively with customers, carriers, operations, and internal teams.Support customers with pricing, operations, and payment issues.Manage spot pricing and carrier negotiations.Conduct on-site customer visits as needed.Collaborate with transportation coordinators on brokering and provide feedback.Engage in spot pricing, carrier negotiations, RFPs, and RFIs.Experience :
2 years of brokerage operations experience preferred.Transportation or supply chain related experience preferred.Business development, sales knowledge, and highway service knowledge.Strong organization, communication, conflict resolution, and time management skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and data entry.RMIS skills are recommended.Ability to work well with others and positively influence colleagues.Professional phone and email communication skills.Ability to prepare reports, business correspondence, and presentations.Ability to interpret instructions in various formats.This position offers a competitive base salary.
